In today's culinary adventure, we will explore the magical world of citrus fruits through a unique marmalade recipe. By selecting oranges, bergamots, mandarins, and an apple, we will create a marmalade that will steal the show and awaken our senses.

Here are our ingredients:

  • 3 oranges
  • 2 bergamots
  • 2 mandarins
  • 1 apple
  • 1 tablespoon plus a little bit of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

 

Directions

We start by peeling the fruits and cutting them into large chunks, removing any seeds. We boil the fruit chunks in water for 5 minutes, discarding the water, and repeating this process two more times. On the third time, we add just enough water to cover the fruits, then we add the sugar and let it simmer for about 45 minutes. Using a blender, we will puree the marmalade and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.

During the final cooking stage, I add a little bit of lemon juice for an extra tangy kick. Once ready, I transfer the marmalade to sterilized jars and store them upside down until they cool down.
