Cocoa Waffles

Product

Recipe-Ingrediants

If you enjoy the chocolatey flavor in your waffles and want something sweet, aromatic, and quick, then I have the solution with this wonderful, flavorful, and speedy recipe!

Ingredients:

180 ml milk

115 g self-rising flour

40 g vegetable oil

1 vanilla bean

25 g sugar

20 g cocoa powder

1 egg

A pinch of salt

Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together with a hand blender. The batter should have a thick consistency.

Grease the waffle iron (a special appliance for making waffles, similar to a toaster but with deep square compartments to give the waffle shape).

Pour 4-5 tablespoons of batter into the compartments, spread it carefully, and cook.

The waffle will be ready when it stops emitting steam from the sides (approximately 3-4 minutes).

Continue until you run out of batter.

Serve the waffles warm with endless combinations. One of my favorite suggestions is to top them with Nutella, sliced bananas, and crushed Oreo cookies.

  • If you prefer vanilla waffles, click here (TAG).
  • You can also accompany them with strawberry compote and caramelized sugar, orange syrup (TAG) with crushed cookies, or various ice creams (TAG), which enhance the flavor when served warm.
  • There are many alternatives for your ingredients, such as different syrups, honey, grape molasses, dried fruits, nuts, whipped cream, and many more. Just let your imagination and passion guide you.
  • When removing them from the waffle iron, place them on absorbent paper. This will prevent them from becoming soggy and help maintain their crispness.
  • If you don't eat them immediately, store them in an airtight container.
