Who can resist a refreshing glass of aromatic homemade lemonade, filled with plenty of ice cubes and garnished with mint leaves or a hint of vanilla? This simple homemade lemonade has become a favorite for both young and old, from children to grandparents. With the pleasant tanginess of lemons and its refreshing texture, lemonade is the perfect choice to cool down on hot summer days or to enjoy as a delightful beverage any time of the year. Let's take a look at this beloved and classic lemonade recipe.

Our ingredients:

1 kilogram of freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 kilogram of sugar

1 vanilla bean

550 grams of water

Directions

In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water, stirring constantly. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove it from the heat. Strain the freshly squeezed lemon juice (to remove any pulp) and mix it into the syrup once it has cooled. Transfer the lemonade to bottles and store it in the refrigerator. Serve with one-third lemon juice and two-thirds water.

a) If you prefer a subtle hint of vanilla, add the vanilla bean to the sugar and water mixture before it dissolves. b) For a touch of mint flavor, add fresh mint leaves at the time of serving. c) You can also make a simpler version of this recipe, but it will require a few hours. Mix the sugar and water in a large bowl and let it sit overnight. The next morning, once the sugar has fully dissolved, add the lemon juice and stir. d) If desired, you can experiment by adding various spices or herbs of your choice, such as masala or even cucumber juice.

Enjoy your refreshing homemade lemonade!
