Product

Recipe-Ingrediants

Coming from Mexico, guacamole is a superfood on its own, a healthy option that can be enjoyed during fasting or by people with special dietary needs (gluten-free).

Avocado is a delicious fruit that can complement many dishes, salads, smoothies, drinks, dips, and more. It is rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids, which help lower cholesterol levels and provide protection against heart disease. It is also a good source of vitamins B5, B6, K, C, and E, and it contains about 2 grams of protein per 100 grams of avocado.

It takes care of our skin with the help of vitamins C and E, reducing wrinkles and aiding in hair repair.

Ingredients:

2 ripe avocados (ready to eat)

1 finely chopped onion

1 finely chopped tomato

1-2 limes (juice) or 1 lemon (juice)

1 jalapeno or hot pepper, melted

A handful of cilantro

A pinch of cumin

1 tsp melted garlic

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a bowl, take the avocados and mash them into small pieces. Set the bowl aside and add the rest of the ingredients, mixing well to combine.

Serve immediately.

If avocados are not ripe, you can speed up the ripening process by placing them in a paper bag with an apple or a banana.

An avocado tree cannot bear fruit unless it has another avocado tree nearby. The fruits of avocado grow in pairs, which is why it is a symbol of fertility for the Aztecs.

In Crete, the "xenombatiko" (Cretan word meaning "coming from a foreign place") avocados have been cultivated since the 1970s. Thanks to the blessed land, they thrive, and we proudly see "Cretan Avocado" in all supermarkets.

Guacamole can be a healthier and nutritious alternative to butter or mayonnaise in sandwiches.

It can accompany and enhance the flavor of toasted bread, breadsticks, nachos, pita bread, vegetables, meat, or fish, providing a unique and delightful taste experience.
